This exceptional example has just been imported from a small collection of British classic sports cars in Florida who have owned this vehicle since 2005. been well maintained but used very little and therefore is offered for a reluctant sale due to reduced storage space. This TR 4 was subject to a complete nut and bolt frame off restoration in New Mexico. USA during the 1980 s and was eventually sold to a new owner in California in 2001. The bodywork and especially the underside bear testament to the original restoration. careful ownership since and the temperate climate it has been kept in. The current mileage of 80. 00 plus is believed to be authentic judging by the collection of restoration receipts and service records. In addition to corrosion free bodywork. the chrome is still in excellent condition with a set of near new condition Daytona wire wheels shod with Dunlop SP 20 tyres with plenty of tread still available. The interior has been well looked after and displays a nice patina with all dials working as they should coupled with a quality Molita steering wheel which enhances the driving experience and the overall look of the cockpit. The soft top has had very little use and displays in an as new condition along with an exceptionally clean engine bay and trunk area make this not only a great car to drive but also a pleasure to show. In addition to some restoration photographs there is a mass of receipts and service details. copy of heritage certificate. manuals and other information relating to servicing. indoor cover and storage bag. a number of spares. California vanity plates from previous registration TR 4 RRR. tool kit and other bits and pieces relating to this car.
