A rare opportunity to acquire a very rare version of the citroen 2 cv namely a BIJOU
Only just over 200 of these were made at Citroen Slough Works between 1960 and 1964
This car was made mid production and was first registered in April 1964. I acquired the car with the intention of carrying out a full restoration but with other projects on the go I have realised this is not really viable so the car is now being offered for sale.
The car will need total restoration and I would say is 85% cmplete. The chassis is okay and appears not to require any welding. the body is polyester resin type material so no welding there. however. some attention to the body will be required. the passenger door is damaged. I think that some work was carried out perhaps 15+ years ago but now all components will require attention. I'm not sure if the engine is original to the car.
There is also a quantity of spares with the car
I would strongly recommend viewing the vehicle so as to understand the true nature of its condition. I can be contacted on 01630 685888 most of the time.
The car is registered in my name and the number ( 3 numbers then AVE) I believe is transferable
I have listed the car on a buy it now and any successful bidder will be committed to the purchase and not to haggle after bidding.
The car is not roadworthy at all so will require being trailered away.

Windscreen, backlight but only 1 door glass (ID/DS?) 1 quarterlight (can get this made to pattern). Glassfibre body restorable but needs chassis/engine/transmission/suspension/tank and anything else metal or rubber which may be forgotten. O/side door hinge broken. Bournemouth Post code.
