The BMW 3-series is a compact executive car manufactured since
May 1975 and has been produced in six different generations and in
five different body styles. It is BMW's best-selling model. br/>accounting for around 30% of the BMW brand's annual total sales and
has won numerous awards throughout its history. The E 30 was sold
from 1982 through to 1991 in saloon form and through to 1993 in
convertible format. Both four-cylinder and six-cylinder petrol
engines were used with a six-cylinder diesel added in 1985 and in
1987. the first all-wheel drive 3-series was produced called the
325 i X. The E 30's introductory price was nearly double that of the
E 21 just seven years earlier. Initially released as a two-door
coupé. the four-door saloon body style was added to the 3-series
line up in 1984 and in 1987 the first BMW M 3 was released based on
an E 30 the M 3 coupé was an instant success.
This BMW Convertible has had three former keepers and is in
good all-round condition. These splendid E 30 BMW's have suddenly
found a niche in the market and have become desirable.
This
automatic transmission 320 i example is finished in black with black
trim and is supplied with a V 5 registration document and a full
years' Mo T test certificate. It is hard to believe this car is 25
years old and can only be described as a future classic.
