This outstanding BMW M3 Evolution Convertible is finished in beautiful Cosmos Black Metallic (Code 303) with matching Black soft-top (code 388). The paintwork boasts a spectacular deep gloss shine and high polished finish. Very faint and minimal stone chips to the front bumper are barely noticeable and a chip to the driver headlamp glass takes nothing away from the impressive appeal of this car. Unique styling features of the M package remain exactly as BMW intended having dodged the all too common modification trend. The original soft-top consists of no less than three strong layers and remains in pristine order and all glass. trim. lenses and rubbers are in excellent condition. The perfect balance of explosive performance and four seat open top touring.

INTERIOR
Having covered such few miles the interior of this M3 Evolution remains in excellent condition. The quality Black Nappa Leather (Code N5SW) has a real showroom fresh appeal and the specially contoured sports seats virtually offer a custom-fit due to the level of adjustment. The leather to the upper bolster on the driver's seat has become slightly crazed but this is barely visible and the optional and expensive Burr Walnut trim adds luxury. Unique M3 Evolution instruments all function perfectly and are exactly where they should be feeding the driver with a wealth of sports car information. A small mark on the crystal display does not obstruct. The remarkably unworn carpets and trim sections are in tremendous order commensurate with such a low mileage and cossetted example. The leather trimmed M-Sport steering wheel with Tri-Colour stitching is perfect. An advanced and ergonomically designed environment.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Displacing 3. 2 litres. the engine of the M3 Evolution offers power throughout the entire speed range with fantastic spontaneity in response to the accelerator. With 321 bhp at 7400 rpm and 350 Nm of torque 0-62 is demolished in 5. 6 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited at 155 mph. The factory optional Sequential M Gearbox (SMG) illustrates the impressive technological advancements made by BMW M GmbH at the time. Clutch-less changes in 0. 4 seconds are achievable with optimum precision. and both fully automatic and manual shift modes are available for all driving styles.


WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
Unique M style light-alloy wheels have a high polished finish only offered on the M3 Evolution Convertible and display only minor markings neatly touched in. The centre caps have markings also. Matching new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres are fitted all-round with 225/45 R17 front and 245/40 R17 rear sizing. High-performance brake system featuring compound discs in floating arrangement on the front axle still set a high standard in brake efficiency.

Supplied new to first owner Mr Michael Lancaster who took the option to collect from the German factory on the 1st December 1998. The new car invoice is included. The last of 12 service stamps was carried out at 57. 65 miles and leaves five green service lights on the service interval indicator.
