1969 Austin Mini Cooper Genuine Classic Car
This lovely car has been cherished by my wife for 11 years and has been reliable and a lot of fun. It was purchased as a Cooper S but there is no evidence to prove the 'S' and so it is now advertisedas a Cooper. Complete with wide wheels as supplied from new by Austin for a short period. The engine and gear box are in very good running order. Engine is not the original but runs very well. 1275 cc. Front disc brakes. Twin petrol tanks Sympathetically re upholstered during its life time. Dash replaced with Jag Mk 2 switches and dials. There is considerable rust to the front wings and to the drivers door (see photos) which I was intending to replace.
Unfortunately I had heart surgery last year and am no longer in a position to replace the wings or associated front valances. I purchased the replacement wings last year and they come with the vehicle - they are still in the senders wrapping as delivered by the courier!! There is an oil leak from the bottom crankshaft oil seal. The vehicle has been in store for the past 18 months awaiting the new wings! The vehicle has been regularly started. This is a lovely cherished car which is Road Tax Free and insurable as a Classic Car. Please ask any questions via Ebay or phone = 8=
