The car was imported in 2004 from California. where it was owned by a father and then his son from new.

At this point it didn't need any welding and was resprayed in its original colour toga white by Bob Knight.

The engine had a total rebuild in 1996 and is a 1. 6 single port.

Once in the UK the disks and drums were replaced to new 5 stud pattern so the NSU RO 80 wheels could be fitted. all the shocks and ball joints were replaced and the brakes were rebuilt. the car was lowered with a stock beam with avis adjusters set low and the rear has a 1 spline drop on the torsion bars which is still how it is running.

The dash pad was recovered and it has a flat 4 GT wheel and a repro empi hurst shifter with a short shift. It has a cd player under the dash with an amp running a sub and 2 6 x 9's. apart from that the interior is original stock. The carpets are not overly presentable and this is something that i would of really like to have replaced as the interior is very presentable apart from this.

The paint work and body as a whole is very straight and solid apart from the few cosmetic paint issues. however in the future the sills may well need replacing but the paint bubbles have not gotten any worse then when i brought the car 2 years ago and the heaters still work really well.

The patch under the nose which looks quite bad. is from where the car is quite low it has had a few scrapes but is surface rust and is not deep and looks worse than it is.

The clutch was replaced about 3 years ago.

I had the regulator changed over for a more powerful alternator.

Whilst owning the car over the last 2 years i have used the car on a very regular basis with the first 18 months as a daily driver with no issues. The car runs fine and is comfortable doing long journeys. this month i did a 400 mile trip without problem.

The pan and arches are super clean with no rust. so i had it all cleaned down and waxoyled just before last winter to keep it that way for as long as possible.

It is regularly serviced by Luke at Terry's Beatles in Hanworth.

It is fitted with an alarm and immobilizer.
It will be sold with 12 months mot as it is due in the next couple of months.

The car comes with a big folder of receipts and records such as the original California tax discs. owners hand book with service stamps from new up to 70 k miles. import paper work. birth certificate. old mot certificates. and receipts for parts.

The current mileage is showing 91 k and the price £9995. 00
It would not take much for this to be a show standard car. The plan was to use my savings to get it to that point but the realization of the fact that i am still renting a flat and want to get myself onto the housing ladder has meant that i have decided to sell her.

The car is located in Kingston Upon Thames.

Video was taken this week.
