VW Caddy MK1

For sale is my much loved Mk 1 golf caddy pickup (1990). This car receives a lot of attention where ever it goes and it will be a real shame to sell however I'm now looking for something a little different!

The truck itself is in excellent condition. For a bit of history the truck was originally owned by a couple who ran a fruit and veg stall after this was used as a car part delivery van so it has never had any weight in the back in its life hence the bed being in top condition.

Engine - 1600 cc standard Diesel engine 121 k miles. Recent service including : oil air and fuel filters. sump gasket. rocker cover gasket. coolant flush and refill. new exhaust hangers so no leaks what so ever - runs perfectly and returns great MPG

Brakes - standard rear drums and new front discs and pads - ATE pads and Pagid Discs
Whilst the front ps were being looked at I cleaned up the clippers and painted them black so look tidy behind the wheels.

Suspension - Rear axle flipped and 2. 5" lowering blocks. front coil overs. just been re greased!

Wheels - Rare Compomotive CXN 501 3 piece split rims. centres have been powder coated in gloss back. Brand new Genuine Compomotive centre emblems in proper 80's font (last full set from Compomotive UK) Dishes have just been machined back to a smooth finish and polished up. finished off with chrome bolts. tyres (6-7 mm tread) have done approximately 100 miles as i have only had the wheels on the car for just under a week!

Body - washed and waxed at least once a week using Kleen Freaks wash and wax kit. the whole vehicle has just been detailed by myself. No rust on the body whatsoever inner wings are perfect and completely rust free! Rear arches are spot on also fuel cap and engine bay area is all rust free. Tailgate is straight as an arrow and has never been repaired!

Under side of the body has just been wax oiled so will remain in the great condition it is currently in!

Interior - Mk 1 Gti front seats. series 1 door cards. mount net wooden steering wheel and custom wooden gear knob with Wolfsburg em low on top! Mk 1 golf gti centre console with holes readynfor 3 x VDO gauges! I have custom made a panel behind the rear seats to hold 3 hi end speakers and the factory standard shelves behind the 2 seats and 1 mounted I. The front dash panel. This has been trimmed in the same material as the 2 side panels so interior all matches and looks amazing.

I have listed everything as honestly as possible and highly recommend coming to view the vehicle as it looks a whole lot better in the flesh. this really does get attention everywhere it goes! New owner will not be disappointed!

Price can be negotiated with or without the Compomotive wheels for a smaller price
