Triumph TR3 1959 LHD - Restoration Project for sale
Current customer rating:
I am selling my left hand drive 1959 Triumph TR 3 due to work commitments.
The car came from Florida and is quite solid restoration project.
It will need new front floors and sill panels. Repair's to the bottoms of the wings will also be required.
There are various small areas on the car that will need attention but on the whole the car is quite solid and straight.
Before I bought this car I had looked at others and this one appealed as it is complete. original and not too bad.
The boot floor is very good as is the spare wheel area.
There is a jack and spare wheel with the car and the correct coach key.
I had planned on taking the car to France once I had restored it. Engine turns over.
I have the other bumper and side screens. Before the car was layed up some years ago. the engine was apparently overhauled but I have not tried to start to car since I have had it. The car rolls. steers. and the gearbox goes into gear ok. The inner wings are solid as well. The car is in a mixture of red oxide and white which makes it look a bit worse than it is. I have all the paperwork required to get the registered with the DVLA on an age related number for the V 5. I am advertising this car for the price I want and I am not open to offers otherwise I don't mind hanging onto it until next year when I will restore when I have the time again. Cash upon collection.
For any questions please feel free to call. Many thanks. 6
