1974/M Lotus Europa Special -

A Properly maintained low mileage (71000 miles documented) example. The Europa Special was renowned for having the ”big valve” variant of its twincam engine married to its new 5 speed gearbox allowing a higher top speed.

This vehicle in particular benefits from a very detailed history file allowing an “in depth” very of its maintenance record. Fitted with a new ‘Spyder' chassis some time ago along with adjustable ‘spax' suspension to improve the overall handling and electronic ignition. the vehicle also benefited from a fully rebuilt engine in 2011 by Hamlin Engineering of Bridgewater at 67. 00 miles which included a re-bore of the cylinders. new pistons. bearings and valves were fitted to complete a cylinder head overhaul. At the same time a new clutch was fitted along with the gear linkages. The vehicle has recently (2008) benefited from a full body re-spray finished to an impeccable standard which complements the brand new period Lotus Alloy wheels fitted with nearly new Goodyear tires.

All together this is a VERY good useable example which is destined only to increase in value.
