David Shaylor who restores historic VWs was given this car and asked to rebuild it into a car he would be proud to be seen in. He has created a real beauty here. It retains all of its 1960s charm. character and excitement.  It has upgrades such as disc brakes but retains its essence as a 1960s Beach Buggy and is not a resto-mod.  This is a beautiful character car in great mechanical and rust free condition.  A real sunny day head turner. 1600cc. twin carbs. front discs. large rear drums. short wheelbase 2 + 2 seating (rear bench). four point harnesses to front seats. electronic ignition. 200mm clutch and flywheel. LED lights. slot on hard top. battery cut off switch. Cherry Bomb exhaust.  Restored in 2012. only 135 dry miles completed since then. 1 year's MOT.  Tax exempt with disc to May 2015.  Only costs me £125 to insure fully comp. Ready to drive away. Engineer inspection welcome.  Test drive available.  I would like a Paypal deposit of £200 immediately on completion. the balance to be paid on collection.
