Welcome to this listing for my one of a kind 1972 280 ce - Grace.
I have owned the car for just shy of a year. It was purchased completely original from previous owner (all original parts included in sale - 5 steel wheels and tyres. wheel trims. original steering wheel. muffler. coil springs etc).
81. 00 original miles backed up by service history and receipts. The car is in Immaculate condition for its age both inside and out. 2 sets of keys.

Work completed during my ownership.

Fully remanufactured (original) engine and gearbox - back to manufacturers tolerances. Less than 5000 miles since rebuild.

New front brake disks. callipers and pads. new rear pads New radiator New water pump New engine and gearbox mounts New sump New transistor ignition control pack New gearbox modulator valve New fuel pump New fuel filter New premium fluids/lubricants/filters 16 Gallon alloy fuel cell and sender 3 SDM 0. 01 Alloy wheels - staggered fitment- Front 18"x 8. 5 j Rear 18"x 9. 5 j New Pirelli Pzero tyres H&R 55 mm lowering springs - fronts installed. rears included but not installed Reconditioned Differential - back to manufacturers tolerances New SL R 107 Driveshafts New Distributor rotor arm and points New HT leads New Platinum tipped spark plugs Heat wrapped straight through tail pipe. cherry bomb glass pack muffler also included Momo 07 suede race wheel Hurst pistol grip shifter New rear subframe bushes - included but not installed All work completed speaks for itself. the car drives like new. It really comes into its own on the motorway - quiet. comfortable. competent. Pulls like a train from 70-110 with a beautiful scream from the straight six at high revs. Everything works exactly as it should.
Building this car has been a labour of love. and I am devastated to have to sell it. That does not mean I will tolerate time wasters. piss take offers. or any of the usual nit picking cretins. If you are looking for an original classic. this is not it. However. all of the original parts are included should you wish to return it to its original condition. This does not change the price - everything goes as one.

There are a couple of small dents and stone chips around the body of the car count them on one hand. Slightly larger dent on driver side wing covered by '72 roundel. and small paint chip in passenger side rear alloy. Must be viewed to be fully appreciated. Do not arrange a viewing if you do not intend to purchase the car. or you don't have the money. £2000 deposit immediately on agreement of sale via bank transfer. Remaining balance to be payed in cash on collection or via bank transfer.
