-Blue with Blue leather interior, Blue carpeting and Tan convertible top, 473 cubic inch Packard Twelve rated at 175 hp, 3-Speed synchromesh manual transmission, Full Restored, Extremely rare, 1 of 7 1407 Series cars produced in 1936 known as the Packard Twelve Coupe Roadster.

The serial number on the firewall identifies this Packard Twelve as the 29th built in the series. These 1407 Packard Twelve's have seating for four. Given the weight of the car, they have an extraordinary top speed of 100mph.

Completed on July 3, 1936 in Detroit Michigan, it was then delivered to New York and sold to its first owner. A factory bodied car in the Dietrich style, options included a Packard Twelve engine with 4 main bearings, Aluminum heads, Stromberg-Duplex carburetor, Single plate clutch with floor shift controls, Front beam axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs, Live rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs, Mechanical vacuum assist brakes at all four corners, Dual fender mounted spare wheels, Rumble seat, Side steps, Luggage rack, Chrome grille, New style radiator with 5 degree rake to give the car a sleek look, 17in wire wheels, Flexbeam headlights, Triplex driving lights, radio, wood veneer dash and door tops and double blade chrome bumpers with hydraulic dampers.

Early history remains unknown. In 1990, this Packard Twelve was purchased by Mr. J.H. Berra a resident of St. Louis Missouri. In 1997, Mr. Berra sold this Packard Twelve to collector, Dale Walkser a resident of Mount Vernon, Illinois. While in Mr. Walkser's care this Packard Twelve spent its time in his Vintage Motorcycle Museum, Wheels Through Time, where it was consistently serviced and cared and exercised. Under his watchful eye the Packard was restored.

June 2001, the Packard was purchased by its most recent custodian from Walkser's ownership. During this ownership, the Packard Twelve has been serviced primarily by Black Horse Garage, Bridgeport Connecticut. Black Horse have been responsible for all service to date, including electrical, mechanical and body with invoices dating back to mid-2001.

Currently in impeccable order, this Packard Twelve is fully serviced and ready for its next new ownership. A rare find, it will be hard to source a nicer and more cared for example ready concours or immediate road – tour use.
