Offered here is a 1986 Austin Mini Chelsea. 1000cc. Finished in Targa red with a metallic anthracite roof with matching twelve inch superlite wheels. This Mini has been slowly recommissioned after a long sleep with many new parts after coming into us a part exchange. It is now fully serviced and has a full MOT and is ready to be used. improved and enjoyed.

It has had four new shocks. ball joints. brake pads and a rear brake overhaul. The engine has had a full carb rebuild. points. leads. plugs. cap and arm. oil and filter. starter solenoid. fuel sender and many other parts to get it to where it is today. It has also just been machine polished and has had the wheels repainted so its looking very smart. The look is enhanced with a pair of chrome bullet mirrors. a chrome grille and a pair of spot lamps. I have also treated it to clear front and side indicators and a pair of brand new uprated Wipac headlamps.

On the road it drives well. it has a smooth gearbox and the serviced engine responds well. It has a side exit RC40 exhaust that gives it a subtle Cooper rasp. This Mini is also fitted with disc brakes and new pads so it also stops very well.

The interior is pure brown eighties velour which i have a soft spot for i must admit! It has a three clock binnacle with a rev counter. a sports steering wheel and i have had some matching floor matts made to finish off the look.

The shell is solid and has had repairs in the past as you would expect from a 30 year old unrestored Mini. the paintwork is gleaming. it has been repainted over its life time so pleased dont expect this mini to be perfect but overall a good looking Mini. Being a 1000cc it also qualifies in Insurance group 2.

I am sure you are aware of the high prices that Classic Minis are demanding so this mini represents fantastic value and im keen to find the right person who appreciates that it is a bargain and that is also ready to use and improve her along the way. All the hard work has been done and it can be used as is. I have shaken it down as much as i can and worked through it front to back.
