VW Splitscreen 15 Window Kombi Bus Camper Brazilian for sale

Just arrived in the UK is this straight. Brazilian-spec. 15 window Kombi. Although European production of the split window bus ended in 1967. the model continued in Brazil until 1975. and this is one the last. The engine is the correct (and we believe original) 1500cc unit. in running though unserviced order.

Being in largely original condition. this bus does require some restoration. although it is a great deal better than many. It does require some welding and panel replacement as indicated in the photographs. We do not see any evidence of previous accident or rust repair. hence it is very easy to see what work is actually required. without guessing what lies behind bright shiny paint and lumps of bodge and filler! All applicable UK taxes have been paid. and we have the all-important NOVA confirmation from HMRC to facilitate UK registration. The bus is not UK registered. nor is it MOT'd. although we are happy to undertake additional work including full restoration.
