Triumph Roadster

Model Triumph Roadster sports car, a British company Triumph Motor Company, published in 1946-1949 years. The first engine Triumph Roadster had a volume in 1776 cubes, but in 1948, was replaced by the motor more - 2088 cubes. The development of the car was completed in the last days of the Second World war.

Because of the shortage of steel, developed by reason of war, the Triumph Roadster was entirely constructed from lightweight aluminium. Maximum speed of the car was 124 km/h - the almost incredible figure for those times, achieved largely because of its low weight. Up to 100 km/hour of Triumph Roadster clocked in 27 seconds.

The machine was made in the types of body sedan and convertible, had two doors. The three-stage transmission has been replaced by a four-in 1948 - the same time as the Triumph Roadster got a new engine. In spite of the presentable appearance, body design Roadster admitted by many experts old-fashioned. According to the developers, the Triumph Roadster easily accommodate three people, but "the people" machine called a double.
