The chrome work to the original bumpers and over riders has a brilliant bright shine and the original grill and winged Morris bonnet badge have only light pitting. The glass. rubbers and lenses are all intact and present very well. The engine bay is clean and suitable for bonnet up display. The standard and original Porcelain Green trim is a fantastic compliment to the exterior colour scheme and has a lovely sense of basic no frills motoring. long since forgotten in today's modern equivalents! The clean washable vinyl-coated fabric seats match the door cards and are perfectly intact with only very minor age related creasing to the original coverings. The patterned headlining is tight and clean. as are the matching twin sunvisors. The Bakerlite steering wheel with Morris badge is completely intact and free from damage as is the added wood veneer. The large instrument nacelle housing all the warning lights and gauges function perfectly as does the flashing indicator stalk. Even the manual B-pillar parking lamp is operational! An iconic motoring delight in every respect.

The 4-speed gearbox with synchromesh on 2nd. 3rd and 4th gears operates well. Thoroughly useable and ready for reliable classic motoring enjoyment!

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
Pressed steel wheels with rare Super-de-Luxe chrome embellishers remain highly polished with minor markings. A matching but slightly scuffed fifth embellisher is housed with the spare wheel. The radial tyres of 145 SR10 size have excellent tread remaining and whilst no perishing is evident. renewal prior to regular use may be prudent due to age. Braking to all four wheels is hydraulically operated by a pendant pedal with two leading shoes at the front. basic but effective.

HISTORY FILE
This wonderful example was registered new on 1st October 1967 to first owner Mrs Susan Bell who kept the car for 18 years! The second and only owner since. a Mr Frederick Scott purchased the car on 30th August 1985 and embarked upon a two year full restoration to impeccable standards. Mr Scott has used the Mini sparingly since and has now decided that due to advancing years it is time for another enthusiast to enjoy the fruits of his labours. A mileage of 55. 86 is absolutely correct according to Mr Scott but we cannot guarantee this. This car is now presented for sale ready for use and classic car outings.

MOT May 2015. Tax Exempt. HPI Clear and Approved Used Car Check Certificate.
