Jaguar XJ6-LWB-Series 2

This long wheel base XJ 6 is is superb all round condition . Having benefitted from a restoration in 98-2000 it is still looking superb. We are unsure weather it was originally Porcelain White but there is no evidence of a colour change . The bodywork and paint are superb. The interior is superb with only slight degredation to drivers seat bolster . Mechanically it is fantastic and she drives very well . The car has been maintained to a very high standard . ince its restoration . It has very limited use and always been garaged. This is a superb example of a car that is now remarkably very rare now . Accoeding to statistics there are less than 50 on UK roads. We feel the car should command a much higher price and is one of those cars set to rise considerably . This example would stand proud at any show . r could be put to work and quite easily earn 50 percent per anum . But most of all its just a joy to drive . It gets many admiring comments and the previous owner whas upset to see her go . He traked the car down after looking at many in Devon and drove many miles North . He was a true enthusiast and the condition of the car is a credit to him .
Engine & Transmission
The engine is running superb . It pulls lovely with a constant very good oil pressure and temperature. Recently driven some 300 miles and performed superbly . Very quiet and smooth . There is evidence of alot of work carried out thru the years and the engine bay is super clean. The car is very tight to drive and has a long mot . We can not guarantee the milege as only having mots going back to 1999 . but we think by the condition mechanically it is correct.
Wheels. Tyres & Brakes
The wheels and all trims are in excellent oreder . aving benefitted from being powder coated . All chrome trims are original and perfect.
Exterior
The Porcelain White paintwork is very . ery good . Thwe car is super straight and stands very well. All brightwork is original and in A 1 condition . All glass is original and scratch free. Considering this car was restored in 98-2000 it really has stood well .
Interior & Equipment
The beige velour interior is excellent . The only sign of wear is to the drivers seat bolster . The wood veneer is all excellent . he headling is all new . The carpets are as new with no wear. All door panels etc are excellent . This feels truly prestigeous once inside . All the gagues work as they should. There is a cd multichanger fitted in the boot . The boot space again is A 1 .
