I have thoroughly enjoyed owning my 1929 Austin Burnham over the last thirty years but a new project has arrived so I must reluctantly part with the Burnham. The interior of this vintage car is completely original. although a little tired. but I think this keeps the character of the car. The Burnham has been very well maintained and the only modification is the car is now on coil ignition. but a magneto is available if required. The windows in an Austin Burnham are quite large. so all-round driving visibility is excellent. Heavy 12/4's are renowned for their reliability. nbsp;and my car is no exception -  it has been driven all over the country.

 I am not asking a silly price so if you are looking for a nice reliable vintage car. nbsp;which is ready for the road. you need look no further.

I came across the Austin 12 Burnham for sale (which I think I've now owned for 2 years). I'm guessing you were the previous owner to the person whom I purchased it from in Wirral. Unfortunately I don't know any of the cars history, and interested to see that you've owned it for 30 years. It's being well used in the Scottish Angus Glens, and also down in the Borders. Running beautifully (now fitted with a new coil conversion/distributor.) I'd love to know some of its history, and if you could get back to me, that would be great.
