1966 Shelby Cobra 427 SC Recreation
I'm Going to start by saying that I looked at a lot of replicas prior to buying this one and non came close to the real thing like this one. The sound from the 1965 V 8 Ford FE 390 6500 cc Big block Engine is stunning. The cobra has no radio or luxuries and it needs non. It's just
pure raw power. No ABS. 4 Speed Rug AV 1 top loader gearbox. No traction.
you need to control the Cobra yourself and I have to say this car wants to hurt you. . I really believe this Cobra is as close to driving a original Cobra without spending hundreds of thousands and the performance is mind blowing and can't be matched by anything that does not have 390 FE Big Block like the original Shelby Cobra. The bodywork is met candy apple red and there is some blistering under some panels but the finish is lovely and I think it gives the Cobra a bit of age. The Cobra is LHD and imported from Canada in 2006 from a guy who owned a stud farm out there. he is still contactable by email for info and advice. The declared manufacture date is recorded on the UK V 5 as 01-01-1966 and first reg in 1966 and
as such didn't need to meet all the strict IVA rules here and gets free road tax and is currently MOTED. The V 5 shows the make as a Cobra and historic vehicle. 4 of the pictures are off the original Canada advert and they list the stunning spec of this car. all I have changed is the seats to historic leather type seats and had plain door panels made to match. Also the 1965 Top Loader gearbox was rebuilt this year at a cost £2000+ using imported parts. I. really am sorry to sell it. it is only due to a property purchase and I don't think another one like this will come a long soon and can only go up in value.

I would like to know if the Cobra is still for sale? I am currently in the UK, but look to use this car in Lithuania, thus wanted to ask if you have a soft-top with it and also if its easy to mount a hard-top pop-off to the existing chassis or will it need proper adjustment?
