1992 Mazda RX-7 FD - Superb, Totally Original Example, 62k, FSH for sale

Arguably one of the best looking and most interesting of Japan's sports cars. the final incarnation of the RX 7 was also the fastest with twin turbochargers on its rotary engine.
Whilst there are a few JDM grey imports around. and a lot are highly modified. both mechanically and cosmetically. finding a totally original and standard UK market RX 7 FD is extremely difficult. However our example is just that.
One owner since 1995. Sold new by Mazda Knightsbridge in 1992. this RX 7 was subsequently resold in 1995 by Mazda main dealer T W White & Sons of Surrey to its current keeper. It has 62 k miles and full service history. the vast majority Mazda main dealer. All the original books and literature are present. including the stamped service book. along with every receipt for servicing/work carried out and the bill of sale in 1995.
The majority of the car's mileage was covered during the first ten years of its life. At 58 k miles (just 4 k miles ago) it had a major service at TW White & Sons Mazda. which included a compression test confirming that the compressions were within specifications. Very few miles have been covered since and the last service was at 61 k miles.
Whilst these were popular cars to modify. it's a pleasure to find one that's totally unmolested. even down to the supplying dealer tax disc holder.
Finished in the ubiquitous red with black leather. the bodywork is in excellent condition with no corrosion or dents. The interior is also excellent with very little wear.
The engine starts easily both hot and cold and. as you'd expect. provides extremely strong performance. There is an Mo T until February 2015.
With UK market unmodified cars so scarce. this is perfect for a collector.
Please note. the private number plate does not come with the car. it will be reassigned an age-related plate.
