1975 Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera RS/T Bodied - Stunning Showroom Condition for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(4.1) based on 378 votes
You have a unique and rare opportunity to purchase an absolutely stunning 1975 Porsche 911 2. 7 Carrera RS/T bodied in gleaming Jet Black with pure orange decals and contrasting tan sports interior and with a genuine low mileage of only 143. 54 miles.

Registered in the UK on 07 November 1975 and on a private plate. this 39 year old Porsche started out as a equally desirable 911 2. 7 Lux. In 1989 its long term owner at that time professionally converted the car to the desirable wide-bodied RS/T look. The upgrade conversion was carried out with all steel genuine Porsche panels. and to an exceptionally high standard and was also done as a marketing and show piece for his professional classic car restoration company. This must have taken 100's of man hours and cost a fortune. as the level of detail and finish is outstanding. even 25 years later it is still perfect. All this conversion is photographically documented and detailed in the history portfolio. All the body mouldings. spoilers and chrome trims are in place and all are in superb as new condition. The car has the 16” sport option Fuchs alloy wheels. painted in Pure Orange and with polished rims. which are in superb as new condition with quality virtually new 225/50/ZR 16 Continental Conti Sport tyres on the front and 245/45/ZR 16 Continental Conti Sport tyres on the rear.

The car is in superb condition and as far as I know has been free from any accident damage repairs (the car is totally clear on the HPI register). The mileage of 143. 54 is correct and confirmed via the National Mileage Register. and comes with a comprehensive service history portfolio with 18 stamps in the service book from Porsche main dealers and specialists and also includes 19 previous Mo T certificates to verify the mileage. The engine is the classic air-cooled Porsche flat-6. very powerful and sounds fantastic. The drive is smooth. rattle free and very very agreeable. a classic 911 on a sunny day. it doesn't get much better. The car is documented to have had the all important engine rebuild which included. a complete mechanical strip down and reassemble with new pistons and rings. gaskets. seals. valve guides. chains. tensioners etc. This work was carried out only 5. 00 miles ago. There are no nasty knocks. rattles or major oil leaks. Recent maintenance also includes a new fully rebuild gearbox only 1500 miles ago. alternator bearings. rebuilt sunroof mechanism. a new Bosch battery. as well as just being fully serviced including all fluids.

The exterior bodywork and underneath of the car are in superb condition. with gleaming Jet black paintwork. and pure orange decals.

It's certainly not the usual rusty and rotten 39 year-old 911 you usually find. All the usual suspect corrosion areas are in perfect rust free condition.

The underneath of the car is extremely solid and still protected in its factory seam sealer. There is NO rust underneath sills are straight and original with clean visible factory spotwelds and no frilly edges. There are no signs of damage repair work having been carried out. The exterior paintwork is in immaculate showroom condition. as you can see in the pictures. deep lustre. bright and shiny with mirror finish patina. again there are NO visible signs of rust.

The interior is in perfect as new condition throughout. with no wear and tear on the seat centers or bolsters. The dash. door cards and carpets are unmarked and perfect. The vehicle has the usual model features of its era including. electric windows. electric sunroof. electric mirror. front fog lights. headlight washers and its original working Blaupunkt radio

. The original toolkit is present. along with the space saver wheel and tyre air compressor.

The car benefits from the having the bullet proof 2687 cc horizontally opposed six. air cooled. alloy block. cylinders and heads. with full pressure. dry sump and oil cooler lubrication system engine . developing a healthy 210 bhp. coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

I have the full V 5 registration document and the car is MOT'd till 6 August 2014. with no advisories. The original manufacturers' handbook and service history is present and correct.

This car is a very special car with a genuine mileage and in showroom condition throughout. These are very rare and sought after cars and are commanding extremely high prices in the current marketplace and represent exceptional value for money whilst becoming extremely rewarding investments. This has got to be one of the best examples of the desirable impact-bumper 911's around.

On the whole this is a fantastic car that has been fastidiously maintained and cherished throughout its life. and which looks and drives like a classic Porsche 911 should. If I was being picky there

are couple of

extremely minor blemishes as expected with a car of this age. but this doesn't

detract

from appearance or driving pleasure of the car.

Viewing is highly recommended and ANY inspection is welcome.

There are no warranties or guarantees offered or implied due to the age of the vehicle. and the car is sold strictly sold as seen on a person to person basis. I reserve the right to end the listing at anytime as the car it advertised elsewhere. I will require a deposit of 20% to be paid via electronic transfer at close of listing and the balance to be paid in cash or electronic transfer within 5 days on collection or shipment of the car.
