Volkswagen Beetle -flatscreen

Though not one for the purists . This 69 flatscreen Beetle has been built/restored for fun and use. The interior is very comfy with fully adjustable fron seats and the safety issue has been sioorted with the addition of front and rear belts. The car stands very well it is not slammed and un usable . The after market "OZ" alloys set the car off very well . Attention has been spent on the mechanics too . gain to make the car very useable and fun rather than hassle. A major part of the 10k spent has been spent fitting an all new vw 1600 engine . ich is running very well with no leaks and no issues. It start 1st time every time . The brakes are all sorted as is the steering/suspension etc etc. If you are looking for some summer fun and ultra reliability that is so cheap to run then you wouldnt go far wrong with this nice flatscrren 69 .
Engine & Transmission
There is a 3200 pound invoice in the paperwork for a new 1600 engine along with ancilleries ie clutch . uel pump etc etc . This was installed in 2010 and has covered approx 2500 miles. Needless to say it runs superb and has made this beetle super reliable . asy to start and very useable. The next ownwer should not have any mechanical issues . Some 10. 00 pound has been spent on the car over the recent years.
Wheels. Tyres & Brakes
The "OZ" alloy wheels are 15 inch and are in very good condition . They are shod with low profile radials again all in very good condition . The brakes are fairly new . ith the calipers etc being reconditioned .
Exterior
The Red paintwork is in very condition . Couple of scatches etc representative of a car that has been used. There are no issues that need addressing on the bodywork . The car is very straight with very good gaps etc. The car has a a very good stance (not too low) and the bonnett and boot release have been removed to give a cal look . The releases are now both on the inside of the car. The boot area is super clean and is carpeted . The engine bay is also vey clean and is trimmed in stainless.
Interior & Equipment
The interior though obviously not original . arries on the mild custom theme . It has been built for comfort and to use . It is very comfy for an old beetle. The switches etc to keep the cal look have all be repositioned under the dash on retro toggle switches . The Kenwwood stereo has been hidden into a panel in the glovebox. olng with an oil pressur gague. The headlining is in 1st class order . The seats are full adjustable and have adjustable headrests. There are quality seatbelts now fitted front and rear. gain done so the car can be used . ven with a family.
