Description: This car is excellent condition. It started out as a very clean West Coast US car that underwent an extensive restoration about 25 years ago. Since the restoration it has only been driven a handful of times to shows and is stored in a climate controlled garage.   
Reason for selling: I own a large collection of cars but lifestyle changes dictate my selling off many of them.
Mechanical: This car is in premium condition mechanically having no issues that I am aware of.  It starts without issue and cruises along beautifully.
Body: The body is excellent. the chrome is excellent. the glass is perfect. There is a scratch on the right 1/4 panel that does not show in pictures. The body is rust free and has never been altered or modified. The color Spruce Green is very rare and a one year only option.
Interior: The interior is excellent. the dash is original and contains the original radio. the interior has never been altered or modified.
Overall: This is truly one of the nicest Metropolitans I have ever seen. it needs nothing. if your looking for a vintage car that won't cost more than your house to buy that is ready to be enjoyed from the moment it arrives at your door then this may be the car for you. When deciding what cars to sell from my collection. choosing this one was very difficult as I know I'm not likely to come across another as nice as this. The car was built in October of 1954 and because it took 6 weeks for them to arrive in North America it was sold new in 1955 and is titled as a 1955. I have much of the service and repair history to go with the car.
Location: The car is located just outside of Salmon Arm. British Columbia. about 3 hours from the US border. If you are a buyer from outside of Canada I can help with importation as I am familiar with US and some overseas procedures for importation. I can in many cases help arrange a shipper. but this is time consuming so I will only try to get a quote for the winning bidder.  
Payment: Cash in person or bank to bank wire transfer is acceptable. Payment must be received within 7 days of the close of the auction NO EXCEPTIONS. I can store the car at no charge for several months if needed. You must contact me within 24 hours of the close of the auction to make shipping and payment arrangements.
