Welcome to my auction for a 1970 440 Big Block Dodge Charger complete with General Lee decals. 12 months tax & test. I have owned the car for 10 years and have all previous MOT's and tax discs from this period. It began life as a 318 cui car but now sports the formidable 7. 2 litre 440 cui Big Block engine backed up by a 727 Torque flight gearbox. The engine has no leaks and has excellent oil pressure. It has new brass core plugs installed. I recently replaced the mechanical fuel pump and it also has a brand new Distributor. I have also installed a mechanical oil gauge. I am a member of the Mopar Muscle Association UK in which the car is very well known. I drive the car to Santa Pod Raceway each summer which is a 400 mile round trip and it never misses a beat. Engine bay has braided lines. a Carter 750 cfm Carburettor is fitted as well as Hedman Headers into a 3" exhaust system which sounds unbelievable. Choice of wheels: Centerlines or Vectors. Centerlines (pictured) have 295's on the rear. Seats are good apart from one small split in drivers seat. Headlining is in excellent condition. Paint looks well but has a few chips and scars. This isn't a show car. If you want one. dig deep and fork out 40 k +. This one is not mint condition so don't expect it to be. I will not entertain tyre kickers or e-mails from the President of Nigeria. I have the car advertised elsewhere so reserve the right to remove the advert at any time. Do your homework before you message me. Do you want to buy an imported car for 13-15 k then spend another 15-20 k to get it roadworthy or buy one here in the Uk with 12 months tax & test ready to roll this summer? I would recommend that you view the car prior to bidding. Log book is in my name. A non-refundable deposit of £500 will be required at the end of the auction and the rest payable in cash.
