1970 LHD Porsche 911 T 2.2,Silver,for restoration,Left Hand Drive

1970 LHD 911 T manual. originally supplied in Los Angeles. original colour is Silver Metallic . code 8080. with Black leatherette. 911 S instruments and oil tank. Coloured Windows. Leather Steering Wheel . 5" Chrome wheels and Blaupunkt Frankfurt (now has 14" Fuchs and Blaupunkt Aspen SQR 24)

Im waiting for the certificate of authenticity to arrive . but the above spec has been confirmed by Porsche AG

Chassis number is . engine number is 6106516. believed to be matching. but waiting for confirmation. engine number given by Porsche AG so far (until I get the coa) is 6106 XXX

I imported from USA last year. so all taxes paid. USA Title. but not registered in the UK. so can be exported anywhere in the EU as is. I can help with export

I have been restoring a 1969 T . so just don't have the time at the moment to do this one. so. would like to sell. but not in a rush. so will be sold for a reasonable price or I will keep it . they are going up in price by day

So. this is a complete car. with matching numbers. needing a restoration. the engine turns on the key. but the fuel is dirty etc so wont start. it has what looks like a recent Ansa exhaust . do have a used original I can put in the car if required

I have had the car on a ramp and inspected by an mot tester. the floors and inner sills are solid. the outer sills. ront panel. front suspension pan. uel tank support panel need replacing. think you'd do the battery boxes while youre there and a repair near the smugglers box. the rear bolt on valance is damaged. the wings will need some work but appear salvageable. the engine lid is rotten underneath. so will be quicker to replace. I would put a new dansk fuel tank in as well. circa £300 the moment

The interior is complete. with door pockets (need restoring). ear seatbelts. eats and headrests. dash is cracked. it still has the usa build sticker inside the door. red and black keys

I will not be putting it on a ramp for you once you have won the auction. or will there be any comeback if you buy unseen. I have been as honest as I can with the description. and having spent the last 2 years restoring one. I hopefully know what these cars need to get them back to where it should be
