1968 Corvette A/P B/P IMSA Trans Am GT1 Racecar for sale

Up for auction is a 1968 Corvette A/P B/P IMSA Trans Am GT 1 Race car Originally raced in A/P in California by Dick Raymond who went on to be the regional champion in 1976. It was re bodied to run IMSA Trans Am in 1980. It successfully ran both Trans AM and IMSA races on the West Coast. The car then came East in the early 90's. The car then raced the tracks in the South East (United States) in GT 1. Car last competed in 2012. Engine is 377 cu in aluminum head small block chevy with jerico 4 speed transmission and standard Corvette posi traction rear end. Car has wide five 16 inch wheels with adapters. -Has Hurst air hart aluminum brake calipers. -Has on board fire system. -Has 2012 dated seat belts-Car comes with and additional nose- please see photo-A lot of documentation comes with car. Including early pictures of the car and driver history. This car is also listed on the Registry of Corvette Racecars. Car comes with 4 log books. 3 from SCCA and 1 from NASA (please see photos)
