1968 Mercury Cougar XR 7 triple black with 302 V 8 and automatic trans. Car vin shows it is a XR 7 with 302 4 barrel carb. It has a rare tilt and overhead console. It also has an odd pedal down by dimmer switch that turns wipers on for one swipe. Car runs and drives well and was just driven fro Chattanooga TN to Memphis. TN with no problems. Car has one small spot of rust behind the wheel well on driver's side under the car. I took a picture but the spot is very small and hard to see. There are two pictures of the underside and the small rust spot is in the first one. The car is very solid with that one minor spot that is easy to fix. Engine has aftermarket valve covers and intake. The hideaway headlights open and shut as they should when turned on and off. Car is not a show car but a really nice original driver.
