Thank you for looking at my item. which is my 1977 Trans Am special Edition. I have owned this cr for over twenty years. and only unemployment forces this very reluctant sale.

He is being sold for restoration. being a very rare survivor with the four speed Borg Warner manual gearbox. It is a genuine documented Y82 "Bandit" special edition. but with the manual gearbox came the W72 engine option. which added an extra 20 BHP. and makes it one of only 2399 made in 1977.

It has T-Tops (Hurst of course) which have their stowaway bag to put them in before putting them in the trunk. I have spent many years putting it back to how it was originally. except for the interior. where the original console mounted 8 track player made way for a CB radio. and the AM/FM  radio was replaced by a Delco AM/FM stereo with a built in 8 track player from 1978.

As mentioned above. this car needs work to complete. it has a small amount of rust in the rear footwells where the T-tops have leaked. and a bit in the boot. and the paintwork needs a complete respray. I always wanted to re-do the headlining. but it just never got done.  

This is a very reluctant sale. I always said that I would be buried in it. but times change. and if the price is right. he has to go.

Collection only from Tunbridge Wells in Kent. no scammers or Nigerian Generals please. Cash on collection would be ok. or cleared paypal before hand.

forgot to mention that I fitted poly bushes to the front suspension. and put sachs gas shocks on all round.
