Triumph Spitfire mk2

Mk 2 Triumph Spitfire fitted with a 1500 cc engine. currently SORN for the last 3 years so sadly it has to go. the bodywork is relatively good but a few areas do need to be looked at. the drivers door handle does not open the the door now for some reason I think the linkage has come off inside. there are lots of receipts as I replaced a lot of the items on the car like lights. ndicators. mirrors. carpets door cards etc. I also put new front brake callipers. pads. new front springs and shocks plus I changed the front wheel bearings and the bushes. The chrome wire wheels were also fitted new 4 yrs ago with the rest of the items but now unfortunately have spots of rust on them which I am sure will come off. tyres are good with spare tyre and wheel never being used. it has the hard top fitted but I also have a new soft top and the original steel frame. There is a further set of wire wheels and steel wheels with chrome wheel trims that could be refurbished and used if required or sold on. Also included is I think an Ashley hard top from the pictures somebody may correct me if that is not the case I had every intention of using the top unfortunately I never got round to it. it will require work if it is to be used.
When I had the car on the road it was fantastic to drive and turned heads everywhere we went. obviously it was free road tax and the insurance was about £85 a year. the car is used and needs TLC to bring it back to its former glory. Currently SORN. Has rust spots on the wheels and in some areas of the body work. the car has not been started for a while as the battery is flat and requires replacing. as stated previously the car is fitted with a 1500 engine I'm not sure whether it was from another spitfire or maybe even a Triumph Dolomite but the log book shows an 1147 cc which is the correct engine that should be fitted but I would imagine it is an easy change on the paperwork. I have set a reserve price which I believe is below market prices and the bidding will start at 0. 99 p.

Just to reiterate the car has not been started for a while and the batter is flat. it most probably requires replacing. The car will need to be trailered away by the winning bidder.
