Rare one off sale of Wood and Pickett Convi Unique conversion.
delivered new from the factory Bmc long bridge to Wood and Pickett. it was commissioned on instruction of the MD Eddie Collins. Built with full margrave top spec. Rolls Royce cream magnolia with brown piping. matching carpet. electric windows. body de seam. flared arches. opera windows. burr walnut dash and door cappings. engine tuning kit. painted in Porsche palsalor 474 with cream magnolia roof covering. It was displayed in Henleys showroom Berkeley Square for sale at approximately £20. 00.
It was taken back to the works for further modifications when there was a break in. and the car was stripped of seats and dash. It was then subject to an insurance claim with Norwich Union who paid out and was subsequently bought and dry air stored by WJ Furber insurance breakers for 26 years. Offered for sale for the first time in June 2013 I purchased it. had its heritage checks and registered it. and have had it professionally restored to its original spec.
