The pdi inspection was carried out by Normandy (Mayfair) Ltd in December 1978. There is an original purchase invoice in the history file for £19. 50. The 1st service was carried out by Automerc Service Ltd in January 1979 at 810 miles and EVERY service since up to 2004 and 96k miles was carried out by the same Mercedes Specialist (highly recommended garage by MB Owners Club).

Mechanical Condition:
This example drives beautifully with obiovus mechanical faults. The car cruises effortlessly at motorway speeds with no issues. The service history is available for detailed inspection for any interested party which with detailed invoices showing exactly what parts have neen changed etc. There were no advisory notices on the most recent MOT. The tyres are all excellent having been replaced in 2012. Any professional inspection or test drive welcome.

Exterior Condition:
This car has undergone no restoration or paintwork preparation by ourselves and is offered for sale exactly as it was acquired off road by the lady owner. For a car that has been in continuos use since new this example is simply exceptionao throughout. There is no ingrained dirt or corrosion on the original 'Mexican Hat' alloy wheels. All the bodywork and chrome work is bright with no evidence of poor paintwork or damage. No corrosion or ingrained dirt on any of the sills or door shuts. The convertible roof is in excellent order as are the rear screens with no damage (looks to have hardly if ever had hard top removed).

Interior Condition:
The interior is also excetional with simply no wear to the seats. There is no wear or ingrained dirt on any of the carpets. Rear seats look to have hardly / if ever have been used. the boot area is very clean with no stains or damage and retains the original full size spare wheel with all tools etc.
