Having been a M. B. Tech for 37 years at the same dealer in N. J. this car was only a few years old when i started my career. Over the years I had owned several models. My first 300 SEL was a 6. 3 after owning it for 25 years college tuition came along and I sold the 6. 3. A short time later I heard that a long time friend was selling her 4. 5 which; she owned since new. Knowing how well taken care of and only 1/3 the price of 47. 00 USD that i sold my 6. 3 for. I bought hers. I have owned this car for six years now and these are the improvements that I have done to the car. New fuel pump. uel pump relay . and filter. ew spark plug wires. connectors dist. cap and rotor. valve adjustment. all fluids and filters changed. new belts. tarter motor alt. voltage regulator tires. chrome alloy wheels. ront and rear brake discs. ll brake flex hoses. master cyl. painted disc hubs to avoid rusting. rebuilt front brake calipers. replaced front wheel bearings. ront driveshaft flex disc. trans. mount. motor mounts. front and rear stabalizer bar bushings. ubframe mounts. The exhaust manifolds were removed media blasted. achined for straightness and proper sealing of the new gaskets. manifolds were painted the original color. I installed a complete stainless steel exhaust including the head pipes. cleaned entire undercarriage wheel wells brackets brake. uel. and air suspension lines of minor rust and oxidation. ainted entire undercarriage and undercoated wheel wells. Front and rear bumpers were disassembled all brackets and reinforcements were media blasted and powder coated semi gloss black the inside of all bumper chrome pieces were sanded primed and painted the proper almond color. this took approx. 80 hours. I replaced the heater levers. both front seat covers and cushions. ead rests. rm rests and center console cushion covers were also replaced. The rear seat is original and hardley ever been sat on.  A/C has been fully serviced.  Runs and rides like a new car.  I purchased this car with chrome alloy wheels and chrome wheel well moldings which are not on the car now. but are available. My name is Paul Kieffer and can be reached at 201-723-0491 with any questions.
