This is
my beloved classic 1974 VW Beetle 1302 S modified convertible. Bill.
He's in good shape for an old chap and brings a smile to all who see him.
I'm selling (very sadly) as I'm leaving the country in a couple of months.
Bill's details:

First registered September 1974.

MOT valid to June 2014.
·
Bodywork solid.
·
Reconditioned 1300 cc engine. installed April 2012 and still under warranty.
·
Starts first time. every time. thanks to a good quality 2 year old 12 V battery.
·
Easily achieves 70 mph when needed but prefers a more sedate cruising pace of 55 mph for longer journeys.
·
Have driven him all the way from Brighton to Bristol and Manchester. no problems.
·
Candy Apple red in colour. paintwork in good condition as always kept in a garage. some bubbling on the bonnet. but not expensive to respray. His true colour shows in the photos I took in the street in the shade.
·
White vinyl roof and upholstery with red piping in great condition. no tears.
·
Red carpeted interior with black mats front and back. Heating works fine.
·
Cal look white alloys.
·
Sony 4 speaker CD player AM/FM radio.
·
Fob immobiliser.
·
Carries 5 people. a dog and 3 crates of beers. no problem.
The perfect sunny day/beach/picnic car. Though he is very watertight too.

Current insurance £85 per year.
