GERMAN MECHANIC OWNED REFURBISHED 912 Coupe

This is an interesting piece for those looking for that hard to find solid refurbished 912 coupe. I obtained this car from a German man that had come to the US years ago and and established a Porsche repair facility. This car was his pet project in the corner that slowly got restored as the years went by. The mechanic only collected NOS parts for this project. The man decided to retire and in doing so he finished the project and sold it to me. When this car first arrived and I took it for a drive I was amazed at how slow a brand new engine performed but as I have put miles on the new engine it has loosened and is up to speed as a new engine should be. I have only put about 500 miles on the car. t gets stronger everyday. he new owner should have joy in being a part of this car coming alive! The paint was done years ago and it has the patina of curing. n otherwords. t is nice but not show quality strong driver level. The interior is very nice with good seat covers. eadliner. ash(no cracks). orrect fresh carpets. ood gauges(all work as designed). The transmission and clutch are also refurbished and very tight.
