Up for sale is my ultra rare 1980 Porsche 924 Le Mans Edition. Only 1 of 100 produced in the UK, these cars were made by Porsche to commemorate Porsche's involvement with the 924 Carrera GT race car competing in the 24 hr's of Le Mans in 1980. Photos of the interior coming soon as I'm just repairing the window motors so the doors are apart but will take pictures when its all fixed. The car is running and driving and can be used as is but is a slight project as there are a couple of things that could be done to improve the car: the paint work isn't the best but the car is 100%solid with no rust. As you can see in the photos the "Le Mans" stripes are great on one side but faded on the other. Inside the interior is all original and the front seats are good but the steering wheel and gear knob are a bit tired. Dashboard has no cracks in it. The car also has the classic 924 "Hot start" issue at the moment where it takes a bit of extra cranking to start once hot but runs great when fires to life. All of the things listed above are why this car is the price it is. These really are rare and will be a good investment I think and if I had space in a garage I would definitely not be selling.
