this is a true 1955 thunderbird NOT a kit car born a ford thunderbird with a later installed chev 350 engine and trans runs super good and good gas mileage I bought the bird 5 years ago (out of L. A. calif. The engine was already installed butt it stopped terrible and my Niebuhr said when they were new they didn't stop very good so I installed disk brakes all the way around . I like the chevy 350 and not to fornd of the ford 292 or the 312 if you have a question's call Jay good luck!
