Here we have a Beautiful Maserati Spyder E 2. 8 Bi Turbo ( Karif with no roof ) with air con and Power steering. it also has TAX 05 - 2013 and MOT 10 - 2013. .

This vehicle is in a good all round condition. but its not perfect. to me it would make an ideal project car. personally I would re-paint it because of a few ripples and minor scabbing on the rear arches and the bottom of the wing on drivers side. the interior needs re-doing ideally. or a good connolising. all the electrics work as does the climate control. the roof needs to replaced as you can clearly see in the pictures. that's just the outer skin. the roof lining is ok. it has been very well maintained. comes with Original books and a massive history folder. .

In 2005 it had a front and rear and engine out re-build. both turbo's reconditioned. new cambelt. clutch and gearbox. the previous owner spent £8150 on having this job done. and much more on work after this having bodywork brought back up to standard. the mileage was 80. 64 miles and its had a new clock or zeroed and it now reads 20. 84. slightly less than 19. 00 since the full re-build and restoration in 2005.

It starts first time and drives well. it does however in my opinion need a good tune up. it seems to be running slightly rich and pops now and then whilst driving. but I drove it 15 miles from collection and there is no smoke whatsoever and pulls like a train. this is after all from factory 245 bhp which with very slight mods that can be turned into 300 bhp. . .

So. all in all. a very usable car as it is with TAX and long MOT. but it does need TLC. a very good basis for an excellent project car which will only increase in value once it has been brought back to its original state.
