Citroen 2CV6 One Owner only LHD for sale
Current customer rating:
Hello and Welcome to the sale of this genuine one owner LHD Citroen 2 cv 6.
This car was one of the last 2 CVs' to be produced in Portugal .
It rolled of the production line on the 23 rd of July 1990. (production ceased on the 27 th July 1990)
It was manufactured for the German market and has one or two modifications to suit . Headlamp flasher . ECLINING drivers seat. various guards around internal edges.
My Sister (who still owns the car) purchased it from F. Mulenbein Citroen Dealer in Lemgo . Lippe. /
Germany with the Spoiler already fitted. This is meant to be a duck tail as 2 cv's are called Ente or ducks in Germany. This can be easily removed as shown in one of the pictures revealing the boot lid which is in as new condition!
The original registration documents and plates are included in the sale showing my sister as the only owner from first registration on the 30/04/1991.
When the owner took up a position in France it was taken there in the summer of 1993 and used around the Paris and Ardennes region.
Upon taking a position in Finland in the summer of 1998 My sister drove the car from Paris to Helsinki where it remained with her until her return to the UK in 2001(no modifications were carried out for the French or Finnish driving conditions.
With another change of employer the car was driven to England on 10/09/2001. it remained on German plates until it was registered in my sisters name in the UK 11/07/2003 to enable this the speedometer was changed to a second hand one reading in MPH and wing indicators were fitted . long with a right hand mirror and RHD headlamps.
It has been serviced every year. even though some years it has covered only a hundred miles between tests. all receipts are with the car and include the German hand book and service history.
Complete with both sets of keys and original key case.
The car is still on lt's original chassis . and has had some small patches welded on it three years ago. it remains perfectly serviceable as it is. This is mainly due to the foreign travel it has incurred where salt is not used on the roads to the extent it is in England.
It has four tyres replaced in 2010 and look as good as new having only covered a few thousand miles. a new roof was fitted in 2011.
The car has never had a radio but does have rear fog and reversing light as well as a heated rear screen.
We also have the original speedo in Km if you would like to re-in state it.
You can see from the pictures it is in generally good condition with a Patina commensurate with it's age there are knocks and bumps on the wings which don't show up very well on the pictures and the bonnet hinge is showing signs of corrosion but doesn't need replacing for a few years yet.
taxed and tested till August please contact me with any questions. The car is with me in Yorkshire but can be collected from London (my sisters place) if required.
Hope you enjoyed my ravings and thanks for reading.
Strictly Cash on collection.
