The Malta Classic Car Museum will be changing a small number of cars from its collection !

Every year we do gather a small number of cars that have been displayed in our Museum to make space for different exhibits. This enables us to keep the museum always fresh with something new to see everytime.

Always sad to see them go :-(

Here we have a VERY RARE 1965 NSU SPIDER. The first production wankel rotary engine car. Single rotary engine 598cc (one plug) 4 speed gear box. These are getting a very rare car to find. The car's condition is very good but obviously will show some signs of its age. It has been always well mantained but has not been restored. All is in good working order but might need some extra care because the car has not been used much lately.

The car is displayed in the Malta Classic Car Museum and anyone is welcome to come and for a viewing.

We can arrange shipping to anywhere in Europe.

Shipping the car to UK will cost £450. This is to a shipping depot in Essex or Manchester/Liverpool. One could collect from there or even have it delivered to his door at an extra cost. Transit time approx. 1 week.

The winning bidder has to send a £300 deposit within 2 days of end of auction and discuss how to proceed with the balance. The balance must be paid 1 week from end of auction and prior to shipping of the car.

My name is Martin Schlockermann and I am the Vice-President of the NSU Wankel-Spider-Club in Germany. One of my responsibilities is to collect information about all 2375 Spiders which were build by NSU. Up to now I have information about 689 Spiders. Therefore I would be glad to get more in formation about your Spider. Do you know more about the history? When was it changed from lhd to rhd? Because NSU built no rhd Spider. If you don't have any information about the history I would be very glad to get at least the VIN (560xxxx) of the Spider to add it to the register of all Spiders.
