Classic 1958 Volkswagen Beetle (Stunning)

Here is my beloved 1958 Volkswagen Beetle. Built for Sweden between November 31 st and December 31 st 1958 (shown on Volkswagen Owners Club certificate included) It was imported into the UK in 1959.

Its has a 1600 cc Twin Port engine from 1978 (South African beetle) Also the gear box. front beam and front and rear breaks from the samr 1978 SA Bug. NO problems at all. I drove from Brighton to Dorset over Christmas (350+ mile round trip). Lots of head turning and waving so be prepared!

Its been converted to 12 v.

An overview of the general condition this 1958 VW Beetle is that it has been VERY well looked after. The information provided is an honest and realistic view of the overall condition of my car.

Paintwork - Body colour has changed to a VW Navy Blue. The original paint was an Olive green. It remains in decent condition. there are some bubbles which is to be expected but hardly noticeable.

Interior - Original horse hair seats (re upholstered). carpet is cream and in very good condition. all the interior lights work (door + Speedo etc) The glove compartment. door cards all in great condition.

Door locks. indicators. wipers. horn. dual headlights and seat belts all in working order. Overall a very good looking beetle.

Registration: DSL 474. Chassis number: 2193365. 2 Keys.

Solid starter. reliable runner and daily driver. This is a VERY presentable car that drives well. turns heads and is really fun to drive.

*Tax exempt. MOT exempt. Very cheap insurance* BUT as it's a pre 60' motor. it's MOT exempt!!*

*Although MOT exempt it had one every year so current MOT through to September 2014. *
