Offered for sale is my original 1955 Lincoln 2 Door Coupe. I am the 2 nd owner. having bought the car from the original owner. This car was in storage for almost thirty years. Delivered to the dealer in Palomino Buff with a white top. the previous owner refused to take possession of the car as she ordered an all Palomino Buff color. The dealership repainted the car as all Palomino Buff to complete the deal. This car came with the ultra rare autronic eye and the spotlight/rear view mirror. I've owned the car since 2007. After purchasing the vehicle we have rebuilt the transmission. water pump. brake booster and master cylinder. flywheel ring gear. radio. clock. distributor. carburetor. brakes. and anything else necessary for a dependable smooth riding car. We chose radial whitewalls for new tires because we wanted the smoothest ride even though wide white polyglass tires would have been correct. We have put almost eight thousand miles on this vehicle with no issues. The Capri also has the self lubrication system and it still works ! One of the unique things about this car is that it is rust free. When achieving its AACA Original HPOF status. the judges could not believe that there was not a spot of rust even on the undercarriage. Because it is an original car there are some small dings on the body and some tears on the drivers front seat. The attached pictures point this out. Chrome and stainless trim are excellent except where pictured. Even so. I believe this may be the finest original Lincoln available today. a turnkey. dependable driver. Call
