1974 International 100 4x4 Truck for sale
Current customer rating:
1974 International model 100 4 x 4 snow plow truck. This truck runs and drives great. but is rusty. It has a 8. 5 ft. Western snow plow on it.
All of the plow functions work. We put a re-manufactured 345 v 8 engine in it. Since then we have only put about 20. 00 miles on the rebuilt engine. It has chrome headers and dual exhaust. We also added a larger cooling fan with more blades to help with cooling. We installed a larger alternator then the factory one to keep the battery better charged while running the plow and plow lights at night. The automatic transmission was also rebuilt not long ago with all heavy duty components. We rebuilt the front and rear differentials and added posi traction to both axles. It makes a huge difference when plowing and has many times been the difference between getting stuck and getting through. The tires are Firestone Destination MT's which do a great job.
They still have excellent tread on them. The truck has a steel flatbed with a partial cover that used to house our tools. The cover can easily be removed. There are nice diamond plate toolboxes mounted under both sides of the flat bed. The bed also has a goose neck ball on it. This truck would make someone a good low cost plow truck.
