Current customer rating:
Here we have for sale an MGC GT Automatic 1969. restoration project. This car has been dry stored for a number of years. I am a car restorer with over 25 years of experience and this vehicle was taken in part exchange . it has a very straight. solid body with excellent panel fit. It has very minor rust on the front wing seams and the boot lid. the rest of the body just needs a polish. The webasto roof is in good order. The wheels were chrome and had light corrosion so we had them sand-blasted and powder coated. It has a stainless steel exhaust and a mota lita steering wheel.
The seats and door trims are in excellent condition and just require a clean. but would benefit from a new carpet set and the dashboard re-spraying. It required very minor work for us to prepare for m. o. t. the steering rack gaiters. the brakes free-ing and adjusting and a couple of bulbs. The engine is smooth and quiet with a smooth gear change. It is recording 59. 00 miles although we have no history to confirm this. The car will be sold with 12 months m. o. t although i would recommend some servicing and re-commissioning prior to road use. With a small amount of work this will make a superb example and is genuinely a d. i. y project with very little corrosion.
