1952 LHD MGTD barn find project car - Dry stored since 1970 for sale

We specialise in 1960 s Porsche. but recently we were offered this super original '52 TD in New York State and couldn't resist it!
In 1970 the engine failed. the owner parked it up in his garage and there it sat for the following 44 years.
On arrival the car was covered in a thick layer of dust. the disassembled engine in boxes on the back seat. We cleaned off the dust to reveal a remarkably sound example.
Several unusual features point to the possibility of period competition history. side air scoops on the bonnet and a front anti-roll bar.
To facilitate removal of the engine. the front wings were removed. These have since been bolted loosely back into place.
In short. this is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a genuine unmolested TD for restoration. The vehicle is very original. from the side screens tucked away in the rear stowage box to the Jaeger instruments and dash trim.
All the original data plates are present and correct. this is a matching numbers vehicle.
Sold with all parts pictured as well as a NOVA certificate to show all import taxes have been paid.
