You are looking at my Peugeot Sport 1. 6 Engined Weber Alpha Fuel Injected Clan Crusader. itted with a Quaife 5 Speed Gearbox and a Quaife LSD. ery rare car. 1 of only 6 built by Clan Automotive themselves. according to the Clan Owners Club Historical Register. nd 2 of them were built for the small Simca Engines. so only 4 cars built to this Spec in total. ot sure if there are any others still around.

This Car was built as a Competition Development Car by Clan for Cyprus. riginally for tarmac rallying. Over the years it has been converted to be used for Hill Climb and Sprinting. uccessfully used for this in the South West. it was then sold to Carburation and Injection Services who converted it to Weber Alpha Fuel Injection with the assistance of weber and was painted in there colours. nbsp;I have its full history including letters from various people who built the car and who have worked on it. and used it over the years.

It has a MSA Log Book for Sprint and Hillclimb. and I also have the FIA Roll Cage certificate for this car. so it could be used for Stage Rallying.

I have only owned the car for 3 Months only selling due to other projects that are taking to long to complete. I am not looking to make a profit on the purchase. but would like to get the purchase price back plus the parts I have bought since. he reserve price is set at that.

 Basicly I have removed the engine and gearbox subframe from the car to change the Cam belt and Clutch ( I think it may be stuck due to standing) and painted the engine compartment. stripped out the old seats. they were rotten and cleaned the cockpit area. to get it back on the road it will need the jobs above done and the engine and gearbox subframe replacing. the body work will need rubbing down and repainting. it is Road registered and  could be MOTed & Taxed when finished.

Found out some more details about the car today from the person who built it. e very kindly phoned me to update some of the info I had. nbsp; He is sure the shell is the only car that Clan made in Kevlar. so very light and strong. most of the bolts used to bolt parts on were Aircraft grade. f you would like any more info please call me on the above number.

I have been asked about the fuel tank. o I thought I had better show a photo of it out of the car. its been cleaned. and is I am told made from Titanium Alloy. very light. lso I have included a photo of the exhaust for the same reason. Its normally mounted on the back panel and is bolted directly to the manifold that is shown in the engine/subframe photo.

I have also found 2 seats. one Motordrive pro that is in good condition. and a Kevlar/Composit mix Tillet type seat for the passenger side. both are good for Hill climb/Sprint. Due to only purchasing them recently. I will include in the deal if the car reaches over £3. 00.
