An original 1967 Volkswagen Beetle

This Beetle has factory fitted front disc brakes. stainless steel door handles that you push in a button and 4 stud wheels. I have been advised by a VW Beetle expert that this must have been a factory special order from new as this spec was only fitted to the 1500cc models in 1967. The date of registration on this car 01. 09. 1967

This Beetle was owned by the same lady for 21 years. in 1997 she drove it into her parents dry garage. its still showing its last tax disc from when it was on the road in 1997. there it stayed until I purchased it in September 2013. I brought the Beetle to my garage. changed the fuel. changed the battery and she started up fine.

I have recently carried out some light restoration work. a new coat of paint. new running boards. beading around the wings were replaced. rubbers around the rear lights and new bumpers front and rear.

There is NO end float in the crank

This is not a nut and bolt restoration. she is in nice original condition. an all matching number car as from the factory. but not perfect. after all she is 46 years old. but what she is. is. an affordable. appreciating. running classic Beetle that could give you hours of fun with the summer coming!!!!!

She runs and drives great and will come with a new 12 months MOT
