Viva Viva! What a total gem this is! I seriously doubt whether there is a better HC Viva than this on the road today. The looks and the recognition this little beauty draws when out and about astounded even me. But it's probably because it so closely resembles a brand new car! This stunning example has covered just 21. 00 miles from new and was actually off the road from 1982 (when it was just seven years old) until 2009 when it was rescued from hibernation and brought back to its full - if not even better - glory. Finished in its originl sky blue livery - probably the best colour for the model range - she will simply blow you away! You would indeed struggle to find better as her panels are nigh on perfect and she drives like a new car. The interior is delightful. and smells like a new car. The paintwork is so good that is arguably BETTER than the finish it would have been given originally.
Once out of long term storage. she was treated to a bare metal re-spray in cellulose - not the usual two-pack paint everyone uses these days. But it was a true bare metal job with panels removed. stripped and then treated to an expensive anti-rust product before being primed. I bet that's more than the old girl ever received at Luton! While she was being prepared. the engine was removed to enable the engine bay to receive the same treatment - which it did. It is now every bit as good as the car's bodywork and would. without question. be up there with engine bay which are judged at concourse level! The underside shows no visible repair work at all and is super. The interior is all original. simply because it would probably be impossible to better what is already there!

I have been using her in dry weather only for a few weeks now and have enjoyed her so much that I have covered 400 miles. just dotting around locally. You would not have imagined that an HC Viva could be so enjoyable and practical. I have been in two minds as to whether to keep her she is virtually acting as a promotional vehicle for me which was the original idea. However. she is TOO GOOD for this and I can't keep dusting off the engine bay every time I take her out which at the moment is every day. She is being sacrificed so that a classic van (maybe a bit batttered. but useable) or a classic estate can do the job instead. If you have anything like that which may interest me. then please let me know. She deserves a loving home where she can be both used and cherished. If he stays here. then she would have to be garaged for around six months of the year because of our hopeless weather and that does not suit my style.

**MY PHOTOS ARE NOT BAD BUT THEY DON'T DO THE CAR JUSTICE. SHE IS BRIGHTER AND SHARPER IN THE FLESH**

Now wait. It gets better. While out. the engine was totally rebuilt. So when I say it drives like a new a car. then you begin to get the picture.
There's no undue noise. rattling. whining or groaning. In fact. this Viva is probably quiter than most modern cars. She has a delghtful little gear change and is more perky on the road than you would expect. Loads of miles to the gallon as well as smiles to the gallon. A British family model remembered by millions and yet there are so few about now. So bear in mind. this car's condition is not just very good. it is exceptonal. In fact I cannot recall seeing a paint job as good as this in recent years - and I don't care what make and model we are talking about. If you don't believe me. then please come and view for yourself.

I have seen a couple of HCs advertised at £3995 and there is another up at the moment at £4995. Both have covered more miles than mine. and I doubt whether they could possibly be as good as this one. But then you could always view mine and others and make up your own mind. Thanks for reading. Martin (07595 020282).

Comments and questions to the seller:

Hi
I am a production manager at ITV Studios working on an Investigative documentary. The story we are telling involves a Blue Vauxhall Vista and we are after a picture of a vehicle that we can use visually on camera to discuss the vehicle. I came across your vehicle you are selling and was wondering if I would be able to use the picture of your vehicle. We wouldn't include the reg, and discussion would be about the make and model of the car in general and in relation to our story and not your specific car. This may be a wild shot that you receive this, but if you do i would be grateful for a reply today. kind regards sophie
