Selling my amc javelin. I restored this car 11 years ago. It is still in great shape aside from a small bubble starting to show on bottom of rear quarter. There was a rust spot there (the only rust in the whole car) it was cut out and fixed but after 11 years there is a dime size blister forming there. The body was taken down to bare metal prepped and painted big bad orange. The paint and body is nice and straight. The 343 was rebuilt and some performance goodies such as comp cam. delbrock airgap intake. olley 650 carb. sd distributor. ooker jet hot coated headers were added. The T-10 trans was rebuilt also.  The rear is a posi 3. 54 with moser 1 piece axles. The interior was redone with original seat covers from legendary interiors. ew carpet. ead liner. It has torque thrust D wheels. All brakes. ushings and shocks were replaced. The car is still a nice car. It has been on 2 power tours. I haven't really driven it hardly any in last 2 years and hate for it to just sit in the garage not getting used so I'm selling it. I might trade for another muscle car or a turbo mustang or something along those lines. Alabama doesn't have titles before 1975 so car will be sold with notarized bill of sale and registration so you can get title in your state. Only issues with car is stock shifter is not the greatest in the world and the small blister on bottom of quarter it's so hard to see I couldn't get a good pic of it to post. Also car sits a lot so tires may take a few miles to smooth out. Like I say it's a nice car but not a 100 point concours show car.

So I had a question about door tag. The drivers door was replaced at sometime in the cars life and original door tag is gone. Here comes the weird thing about the car. It's a 68 and it was painted big bad orange from factory. he vins match on tag and behind steering box. If you pull the carpet up the original BBO paint is still on the floor pans. So that's the story of the door tag and paint color of car. I know there wasn't any big bad colors in 68 so don't know how it happened.
