Sadly selling my old model Cherry Red 1984 Mercedes 300 SD Turbo Diesel. I have owned it now for two years and bought it off a guy who inherited it from the original owner. Odometer stopped at ~176. 00 (quite possibly the most common issue in these types of cars) but mechanic figures that it has around 200 k. I paid $4. 00 for it and have put just over $3. 00 worth of new parts on it including: all new tires. new transmission modulator (shifts like a dream). new oil cooling lines. new A/C motor (gets colder and hotter quicker than our 2005 Mazda). complete system fluid flush. new seat motors. new battery. new alternator. Fatty Wagons fuel injector insulator. etc. I had all of the work except the tires done by my mechanic in north Austin who is an independent and has been working on old model Mercedes for over 30 years. He will validate all work done. In addition. I have put over 1. 00 gallons of high filtration WVO (~5 microns) through the car and have seen no loss in performance. I would not recommend if you don't have a high quality source. If you are down. I will also hook you up with my WVO supplier who has the best stuff around for the best price in town. This car is perfect for someone who wants to immediately start running WVO and needs a car that has a good look to it.
