Here's a great older Alfa that's recently received a bunch of work. It's been with the same owner since 1991 and comes with full records (if you call I can give you a rundown of what's been done over the years. A lot!) The acceleration is spot on. Brakes work well. as does the transmission. The car just got a brand new windshield ($900) and new soft top ($1. 00). The current owner is getting on in years and has decided he shouldn't drive it anymore so the car is now up for sale.

The interior has signs of wear. but nothing awful; just wear and tear on the seats. mainly. All gauges work as they should. as do all the lights. The car was repainted a few years back and is a decent job: not concours quality but still shiny and smooth. The tires still have tread. but the car really deserves better ones down the road as these were put on to match a budget rather than for performance. One hubcap shows minor damage near one of the lug nuts; possibly from the nut being stuck at some point. Beyond the new windshield and convertible top. the car recently was in the shop for minor repairs to the trunk and gas door releases and a few other minor issues. While there the car was checked out and the mechanic gave it a thumb's up. A top-end rebuild was done a number of years ago and the car runs well (we're happy to go through repair receipts with you. if you'd like). It passes smog testing and has no apparent mechanical issues that need to be addressed.  
We know it's very hard to get a feel for a car without seeing it in person. but we are willing to help determine condition however we can. We are more than happy to give a comprehensive rundown of the car's condition over the phone. as well as a live walk-around Q&A if you so desire. We are also available to take the car to the mechanic of your choice if you'd like an independent inspection (we would if we were buying a car online. ) You are also welcome to speak with the mechanic who last worked on the car (He is well-versed. being a top-notch mechanic and coincidentally restoring an Alfa Spider himself).
